What is hypnosis?


Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation, with the mind very focused and absorbed on 'inner realities'.

Whilst in hypnosis a person is fully aware of what is happening and is able to exercise full control should s/he wish to do so.

In this relaxed and absorbed state it is possible to make therapeutic changes, utilising the strengths and stored knowledge of the deep inner mind, to ameliorate a wide range of physical and psychological conditions.

What can hypnosis help?
Hypnosis is particularly helpful in dealing with phobias; in helping overcome unwanted habits, and in relieving physically debilitating conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome and migraine.
